When I started working as a photographer I had zero idea of how to actually make it work, my first few years as a photographer I would do all kinds of photography jobs and the fashion industry felt like a million miles away from me…

I went to photography school for a 14 month program, and I have a master's degree in Design and Art Direction, all together it’s about 8 years of learning… Yet by the end of my studies I had 0 knowledge on how to work as a freelance photographer (or designer). It’s like I had learned the « WHAT » but no-one would teach us the « HOW ».

Still today, finding information on how to actually work as a freelance at large and a freelance photographer is hard.

I just spend the last few years shooting and traveling around the world on a constant basis, I have built strong relationship with brands and shot campaigns in the most inspiring and beautiful locations, I grew my network in a way that makes sense for me, I made friends, I have been published in magazines and my dreams and ideas just keep growing…

Today I want to press pause for a second and share with you everything I am learning on the way. This essential knowledge we don't teach at school.
